 FOR SALE : EARLY ROBERT MOUSEMAN THOMPSON OAK BENCH. Oak Bench/ Pew by Robert "Mouseman" Thompson of Kilburn, North Yorkshire.
Probably a one-off item with masonic connection. The solid plank back carved with square and compass in a circle above a plain seat with lightly inscribed dedication to frieze on turned and carved legs joined by stretchers. The carved mouse can be found to the right front leg.
A lovely example of early Mouseman furniture.
Measurements: Length 1520mm, Depth 430mm, Height 760mm.
Condition report: Very solid.

 FOR SALE : SMALL ANTIQUE CARVED OAK MONK'S BENCH. Superb carved oak monk's bench.
Excellent quality heavily carved oak hall bench. The back with intricately carved floral motifs. Lovely shaped arms carved into stylised lions. The back folds down to create a flat surface/ table. The hinged seat encloses storage space and has further matching carved panels with motifs to the front and frame. Standing on bun feet. The piece dates to the late Victorian or early 20thc.
Lovely grain and colour. Please excuse my photo's as they do the piece no justice.
Condition report: Excellent, solid and ready for use. A few use marks to the top.

The solid top with crossbanded and moulded edge over two short drawers above three graduated long drawers, all with neatly crossbanded fronts. Complete with it's original brass handles and escutcheons. Standing on later bracket feet.
Measurements: Width 1215mm, Depth 560mm, Height 1200mm.
Condition Report: Excellent and solid throughout. The lightest of use marks but nothing that detracts. The bracket feet have been added at a later date but are a good match.

 FOR SALE : STUNNING VICTORIAN LANCASHIRE PINE SIDEBOARD. Imposing antique pine sideboard.
The solid top with moulded edge has a shaped and carved back with a full length shelf supported on either end by two trinket drawers with their original glass knobs. The base has two hidden drawers with nicely curved serpentine fronts over 4 further good sized drawers. All are complete with matching glass knobs. Standing on short turned bun feet.
Lovely mellow patina and colour which does not show very well in my photo's. Really has to be seen to appreciate the quality and condition.

 FOR SALE : ANTIQUE VICTORIAN MAHOGANY CHIFFONIERE. Victorian mahogany chiffoniere/ side cabinet.
The shaped back with an overhanging carved and pierced cornice over a small mirror and full length shelf above a large oval mirror flanked on either side by trinket shelves with elegant turned supports. The base has a solid top with a shaped and moulded edge over a central drawer with fretwork detail to the front above two central glazed cupboard doors with matching detail enclosing a fitted shelf. Flanked on either side by two further small shelves. With a carved skirt and standing on elegant cabriole legs with carved detail to the shoulders. Excellent colour which does not show very well in my photo's.

 FOR SALE : ANTIQUE NICKEL SIDETABLE A 1920's food warming sidetable by Premier with a registered design number. Made in nickel plated brass with wooden side handles.
