A set of art nouveau cast iron ballusters from the Manchester Hospital for Skin Disorders (Quay Street) demolished several years ago.
There are 7 decorative staight topped pieces and 8( poss 9) straight topped plain pieces.
7.25/18.5 wide by 35/89 high -( including the screw in top bar used to attach the handrail) and the base tenons( was installed in a concrete staircase)which are approx 3cm by approx 1/26mm deep.

There are 13 angle topped decorative pieces and 9 angled topped plain pieces.

No handrail or newel post.

Magnificent set of huge lead hoppers. All have grape & vine embossing, rope edging, and rosettes to centre and around fixing holes.
Images show set of three for straight wall fixing, and single with date "1932". These are 23in high, 18in wide, plus 4in down-pipe access. Also two corner-fixing, 24in high, 22in wide.
Slightly distorted from removal, some stripped, some painted.
