A pair of superb original antique wrought iron estate gates with ornate scrolling. These gates are 118 inches wide, which should cover a 10ft gap when hinged.
Condition is excellent for age with few knocks and almost no corrosion to the base. The tops have mild corrosion which can be treated when they are repainted. The scrolling is or very good quality and they are of substantial construction. Weight is around 150 kg each. Original stays are provided.

cast Iron rainwater hoppers to fit 3 inch downpipe. as pictured, I have three of the chunky square design, and three of the classic fluted design. they are all in great condition, with ears intact, and are currently painted black (except for one, which is white) but they will need repainting. local delivery, plus shotblasting and/or repainting available for extra charge. I also have two other hoppers, (not pictured) one is a later example of a fluted hopper, from the 1950's I think, and is a little less ornate but still very nice. plus another square one, which unfortunately has no ears. but it is still possible to easily attach it to a wall, and you wouldnt really be able to tell.
cast iron hopper heads are so much better than plastic in many ways, being far more sturdy and hardwearing, but also look so much better. there is no comparison between a faded, boring plastic hopper, and one of the beautiful cast iron fluted ones pictured here. cast iron hopper heads add alot of charcter to a house and are inkeeping with old buildings.

There is a pair of lower ones from a Victorian house in Southport.
These are 26.5"/675mm high by 36.25"/920mm wide(12 sections) by 11"/280mm deep.

Dimensions in inches: 33.25 high by 4.5 depth by 58.75 and 82.5 lengths.Pipes are approx 2.25 in diameter and the columns are 4.5 square.

This is a rare opportunity to purchase a Victorian Spiral Staircase and balcony. We are able to dismantle and deliver. Viewing is strictly by appointment.
The staircase rises two floors. It can most probably be installed as an internal feature. Being 7m high it could be split in two, though not sure about building regs' this would have be checked out by the purchaser.
