 STOLEN : 10FT WIDE OAK GATES
Stolen from Chesterton, Warwickshire, England on 15 August 2004.
The GATES are 10ft wide, dark oak with ten rounded top spindles on each gate. The gates curve along the top. The iron hinges reach from the first spindle to the fifth. Very old and tatty. Two spindles have been replaced with pine. Some of the bottom spindles are different lengths due to rot. Possibly stolen by somebody driving a yellow escort van.

 STOLEN : PAINTED 15THC CHURCH PANELS STOLEN
Stolen from Newton Abott, Devon, England on 10 February 2003.
Three polychrome painted WOODEN PANELS from a 15th century wooden altar or rood screen, the panels depicting saints: St Lawrence in a red robe with a bible and large fork, an Archbishop in a green cloak with a red mitre holding a bible and a cross on a long staff, and a second bishop with a green mitre also holding a bible and a staff. Each panel is approx 86cm high by 12cm wide and is dated around 1470-80.

OAK PULPIT 42ins high, constructed of five heavily engraved panels, three with carved arched lattice features. together with an oak base. Attached to the base is a Victorian iron standard lamp painted blue with gold embossing. The lamp is approx. 36ins high and is fitted with a glass bowl it was originally fitted as a gas lamp, but has been adapted to electricity. Also a set of six Victorian double lamps, each approx. 12ft high, painted blue with gold embossing and scrollwork. Each weighs approx. 50 kilos and is fitted with two glass bowls hanging down, originally gas fitted but adapted to electricity.

MARQUETRY PANELS, mahogany, vivid colours especially green, from three c1910-20 Pullman railway cars, in good condition, some with signs of screwed fixtures, sizes from 5ft 6in by 2ft 6in to 2ft by 1ft. Each of the three carriages had a particular style. 'Calais' was Persian, 'Juno" had urns wreaths and swags, 'Aurora' had sunburst pattern in oval shape. Reward offered £2500.
