 FOR SALE : ORIGINAL 1940S CINEMA SEATS SALVAGED FROM BRISTOL OLD VIC THEATRE, HOME CINEMA Original 1940s Cinema Seats Salvaged from Bristol Old Vic Theatre.
Sold in sets of 3 seats at £170.00
They all come with the right brackets to screw to the floor. Supplied dismantled for transportation. They are easily put together. Seats need to be fixed down (bolted to the floor) for full stability.
Authentic / Original Vintage Seats / Chairs. From a local refurbished theatre.
Tip/Flip up seats. Fixed upholstered armrests. Well used and very comfortable.
Still in their original upholstery, with some signs of wear on the seats as would be expected, but can easily be re-upholstered.
Ideal for home cinema / theatre / auditorium seating. Feature or boutique seating in retail environment. The seats flip up so are good in limited spaces.
A SLICE OF HISTORY
Bristol Old Vic, located in central Bristol, is an original Georgian auditorium and is currently undoing a large scale redevelopment scheme. The theatre was designed by the Bristol architect James Saunderson, and was the first in Britain to do away with the traditional rectangular auditorium shape and adopt the 'horseshoe' shape now seen across the world. The seating being sold here was fitted during their 1940s renovations.
Approx 100 quantity left, open to fair offers for the lot.

 FOR SALE : ERCOL DAYBED/ STUDIO COUCH. FULLY RESTORED BY 'REVIVED' Daybed, designed and manufactured by Lucian Ercolani for Ercol, circa, 1960's. Superb example of British post war modern design.
The daybed consists of a solid beech frame with a detachable solid elm backrest.
This is an excellent example which has been completely restored by 'Revived'. The frame has been cleaned and repolished. The webbing is all new Pirelli webbing, the mattress and back cushions are made of new top quality 'Reflex' foam which have then been upholstered with removable/ washable covers in a beautiful cream/beige Irish Linen fabric. All the main cushions have been top stitched for strength which also adds a lovely detail. The extra feather cushions are all included in the sale, the 2 side cushions are covered in the irish linen and the feature cushions are covered in 'Orla Kierly' multi stem fabric.

This compact set happily seats 4 in it's unextended state and 6 when extended. The 4 tripod chairs fit very neatly within the apron of the table.
Made of Solid Teak with Upholstered seat pads, covered in a golden/olive damask fabric. The set is in very good condition, there are no marks or tears on the upholstery. The extending central panel is darker than the rest of the table, due to lack of use. All in all it's in great condition and is a lovely piece of furniture.
