FOR SALE : SLATE SLABS
I have an 8x4 ft snooker table and the bed is comprised of three slate slabs (obviously dead flat & smooth!). Each slab is about 4ft x 2ft8, but with round bits cut out where the pockets are. Just over 1" thick. Each weighs about (guess) 400 pounds(?)

I'm wondering whether to sell it complete, as a snooker table, or if the slabs are worth more as slate for whatever someone might want to use them for. Headstones? Pastry slabs? Countertops? Doorsteps? Lintels? Flagstones, Fountain, Sculpture, Snooker table(!)?

It is about 30 years old, semi-commercial type, complete with all pockets and cushions etc. Stored indoors (except the slates). Green baize may need renewing if u want to use it as a snooker table.

Any sensible offers?
