FOR SALE : A SERIOUS SET OF OAK DOORS!
These oak doors were salvaged from a large country house in Stanmore, built in the 1930s, but the doors are not typical of that period! They were custom-made to suit the size of house, from oak with deep set fielded panels, crossbanding and boxwood stringing, original door furniture and heavily moulded architrave sets. As single doors I have 11 of the plain top style and 5 left of the arched top. A set of half glazed arched top living room entrance doors with its architrave and furniture. A wide half glazed square top rear entrance door with frosted glass (one pane broken)- now sold! And finally, the wide house front door, which has eight raised and fielded panels and its door furniture.

01 Dec 2007 22:05:57 : Double arched oak doors
Hi,
Are the double arched oak doors still for sale?
If so, could you please provide me with the dimensions?
Are they suitable for outside (i.e. front storm door) usage?
How much are you looking for?
Many thanks in advance.
