FOR SALE : VICTORIAN FIREPLACE SET OF TILES - CIRCA 1880
This stunning set of Minton Hollins blue & white tiles was made Circa 1880. The top & bottom tiles have been slightly trimmed in order to fit into the previous fire surround, nevertheless it should fit the majority of Victorian fire surrounds. (The overall measurements are given below.) Other than this the tiles are in great condition with the transfer printing sharp and clear with a bright, clear, unscratched glaze.
Measurements:Overall length - L/H Side 29.5 inches - R/H Side 29.75 inches. All tiles are 6 inches wide approx. N.B The average length is 30 inches.
