Black oak timbers, 30 ft long
Dug up from the cambridgeshire fens, approximately 5000 years old.
Extremely fine condition, very hard and strong.Chosen for the panelling in Alexander the Greats palaces,also used by irish peasants to build their cottages as it was the only timber available in and around the peat bogs of Ireland.Would make amazing focal/talking point in any setting traditional or contempory. Please do not hesitate to phone if you are interested in using this rare and ancient item.(can be cut to size).
