FOR SALE : 'CHURCH' STYLE BALCONY - ** SOLD **
Length of balcony, with arched features, as shown. Currently installed in our house, but being removed this week.
It is in 2 sections. The longer section, is approx. 3320mm, and the shorter section is approx. 1200mm. Although currently positioned so that they are angled, these could be aligned so as to be 1 long section.
The balcony height is approx. 900mm.
There are in total, 8 'windows' - each of which contains an arch detail (6 in the long section, and 2 in the shorter).
Each 'window' is 440mm(w) x 570mm(h).
In addition to the 2 sections as mentioned, there are also 2 small lengths of the top rail only, each measuring approx. 300mm, included in the sale.
I don't know the history of this item, but I'm assuming that it was added to the house (which dates from c.1858) as part of a later renovation project.

FOR SALE : WOODEN SUPPORT COLUMNS - **SOLD**
Two round, wooden support columns, as pictured.
They're currently installed in our house, and are being removed this week. Note, that although these columns provide a structural element, the balcony they support also has joist support internally, so they are NOT carrying all of the weight (and I can't say what load they would safely support).
Column diameter is approx. 95mm. The detail at the bottom is approx. 160mm in diameter, and the top detail is approx. 190mm in diameter.
The total column height is approx. 2270mm, with the bottom detail being approx. 310mm in height, and the top detail approx. 170mm in height.
In addition, the entire column sits on a 200mm square wooden cube - located beneath the floorboards. These blocks are included in the sale.
Condition is good, although they would benefit from a little restoration - in particular, there is some minor cracking to one of the bases that needs tidying up.
I don't know the history of these columns - the house itself is c.1858, but I'm pretty sure that the columns have been introduced at a later date, as part of a conversion project.
