WANTED : DECORATIVE RED ENGINEERING BRICK
My house is made of glazed red engineering bricks, I think this may be referred to as Accrington bricks. Around the front porch is an archway of 'S' shaped bricks leading to a keystone. Some of the bricks are damaged, I would like to repalce them. The bricks have a length of 12cm or approx 5inches
I am willing to collect and understand this is only a small order, will buy complete arch if necessary

29 Apr 2005 20:45:30 : Accrington Bricks
I obtained some Accrington bricks at Riverside Reclamation of Bolton - they were a very very good match for my house in Chester ( I have some spare ). So R.R. might be somewhere to try for your specials

02 Mar 2005 16:59:34 : Decorative Red Engineering BrickHello. Apologies if you know this already, but Marshalls (the company that made Accrington brick) are still in business - in Accrington, and elsewhere. I've attached their web-link. I think they can make bespoke pieces, if needed. http://www.nori-acidbrick.comIP : Logged
