Set of 20 Late Victorian / Edwardian Elm & Beech Folding Chairs ..Church Cafe Campaign Military

Due to quantity, their folding practical nature and gentle lean of the back for comfort, the suggestion of origin would be large gatherings or café. Alternatively, there may be a campaign military angle.

Well constructed of beech & elm, the chairs tell the story of over 100 years of the life and times of an honest, working, knock about piece of furniture. In original condition, having been given only a light wax, there is a heavy level of mellowed distressing throughout with a varying dark to light colour. Patination and charm.
