Built in the early part of the 20th century for use in a school library, this big, bold and golden bookcase has come of age. Well proportioned with it's tall upper body, the restrained ornament along with the characterfull distressing of nearly one hundred years add just enough to elevate the piece to the dizzy heights of a practical, desirable individual.
Constructed of solid golden oak, with pine VJ backboard. The bookcase is in original condition throughout bearing the knocks and bumps of time.
