50's Vintage, Gazelle Hide Drum / Coffee table. From the thronging jungle room of a trendy fifties couple comes a beating drum which has seen a generation go wild and native, then slide into the more gentle pace of older suburban life.
Occasionally pieces do pop up from that niche trend of the themed 50's jungle room, all of which enjoy a certain novel, collectability. This piece, also compatible to the big game trend of the decadent, Deco 30's, maybe has a little more to offer and should be viewed in its own right as an interesting, curious piece of our past.
