Existing cast iron coal grate insert for Late Victorian/Edwardian fireplace has broken into pieces and am finding it very difficult to source a replacement. It has a curved front with lugs at either end to slide into the slots behind the front grate. The back section is moulded with a pair of shallow protrusions to hold it in position. It is part of a cast iron fire surround in a 1901 Mansion Block in Highgate, London. It needs to be exact size as it slots in behind lift out curved front fire grate. Overall dimensions 375mm (14.75 inches)wide x 175mm (6.88 inches) deep. Overall dimensions: angled sides 125mm long (5 inches), back 295mm wide (11.63 inches).

The picture is of the fireplace in the master bedroom a 1920s council house in south west London, Dover House estate. The dimensions are 48" tall by 40" wide (widest point of the mantle). the item required needs to fit the living room chimney breast which is 4" wider than the master bedroom one. I imagine the height would be the same.
I don't mind the condition as I have the tools for restoration.
In the 1960s the council ripped out most of the fireplaces are replaced them with gas fires; lucky for us the ones in the bedrooms were not removed

We require a cast iron fireplace insert similar to that shown, to fit within an existing surround. The insert needs to have external dimensions 760 mm (30 in) wide by 890 mm (35 in) high. Ideally, the style should match the photo. as closely as possible, including accommodation for tiles. The condition of the cast iron needs to be excellent. The condition of the tiles is not critical.

I'm found an old fireplace that had been boxed in in a bedroom that I want to bring back to life. The house was built in 1907 if that helps any. Missing are the mantle and the apron -
The fireplace is 38" wide just below where the mantle should go.
The opening is 18" wide - the apron needs to be 9 -11" tall (not sure how far they should come down)
