FOR SALE : ART DECO LARGE SHADE AND LAMPSTAND
This is a really lovely and hard to find lampshade.....it is 18 inches square and 15 inches in depth. Made from a pliable plascic material common to the era.There are relief pictures of saling ships on the side , again typical of the art deco era. The shade is stitched together and is in excellent condition. The tassels are in good condition but some have been cut off where they had dropped..really not noticeable but should be mentioned. The lamp stand is metal and is gold painted.this looks original paint but I could not say for certain..the stand is in very good condition overall but the paint is a bit scraped in places just with being moved around. buyer would have to collect preferably as I really would not know how to pack it......for sale as shade only or lamp and shade..same price obviously..but as I love the shade I think someone else may just want the shade too.I would pack the shade at the buyers expense but with no profit to me.
