 FOR SALE : VICTORIAN/EDWARDIAN FIRE SURROUND
Original old Victorian/Edwardian Fire Surround (not a reproduction). Solid wood and in excellent condition. I have just purchased the property, of which this grand surround is situated. Unfortunatly this will not suit our decor, so I am forced to sell. I have been told it dates around 1890-1910 but I am not an expert on dates, may be you will know.
Sizes are as follows:
Height 195cm
Width at its widest point 182 cm
Width at its narrowest point 157cm.
The pillars are 14 cm in depth and the top cornice is 25.5 cm in depth from the wall.
The aperture is: 105 cm wide and 96.5 cm in height.

Is your fire surround still available. I am very interested in it and would be interested to see some further pictures. Is it still in situ, or have you had it removed/dismantled?

I am interested in this item, please forward additional pictures and dimensions of aperture where an insert would go. This appears to be an edwardian piece do you have any information to confirm its provenance?
