DEMOLITIONS : DEVON STONE

Large masion circa 1860 in Dawlish due to be demolished end March. Approx 500 tons beautifuly dressed weathered Devon stone,probably[Stoneycombe/Dartmoor], will be crushed on site and used for topping etc unless someone out there would like to exchange it for 500-600 tons of 6F2 for our groundwork with a small nominal fee to the site workers for the additional disturbance to their schedule.We are really reluctant to see this scarce material go back into the ground. Normal cost could be £200-300 per ton. Potentialy a huge saving or profit for any substanstial rebuild or renovation project to an interested party able to handle the logistics. tel Mark Bright
