FOR SALE : ART DECO CAST IRON 1930S BATHROOM SUITE
We have just removed a bath (very long, with chrome handles on each side and itegral shelf on one side), basin (cabinet type with two doors into cupboard below) and w.c. bowl with low-mounted wall cistern, from our house. We believe they have been there since they were installed in the 1930s! The colour is a sort of cream/yellow and they are all in very good condition - only the loo bowl shows signs of ageing (crazing) presumably because it is ceramic. Everything else is cast iron and very heavy! Can supply dimensions and photos on request.We also have what we assume to be the original taps, including "shower type" for the bath. Also chrome heated towel rail from same era.
