STOLEN : VICTORIAN MEMORIAL STATUE

Stolen from Brede Churchyard on 30 oct 2009

Item : Victorian statue of young woman with head bowed. Shawl over head gathered into hands clasped in front. Standing 4 - 4ft 6ins.

Recovered Details : Within 24 hours of the statue appearing on the Salvo website, a dealer telephoned Sussex Police to say that they had it. The police are investigating and we hope that the thieves will be prosecuted in due course. Thanks to the brilliant Salvo site which worked perfectly!
