hi there,
I have a stove that is pretty much the identical twin of the one in your photo. I bought it about 5 years ago from Blue Mantle fireplaces in the Old Kent Road in London - they specialise in refurbishing original cast iron stoves - the model is a Beetonette - its got all the original plates, grates, trays and covers.
I never used it - its was just for show in an opened up brick chimnney breast in my flat in London - its now in storage - let me know if your friend is still looking
