FOR SALE : ENGLISH OAK STAIRCASE English oak staircase removed from a substantial Arts & Crafts property.
The first flight has 5 treads 54ins wide, though the bottom tread has a quarter round finish to 64ins wide. All have 6.5ins rise per tread and 12.5ins of surface (going) per tread.
The landing is 108ins wide by 54ins deep of wide oak boards, an inch and one eighth thick.
The return flight has 14 treads of 54ins wide with a rise of 6.5ins and 12.5ins going.
Newel posts are 5.25ins square; the handrail is 4.5ins by 4ins and 'mushroom-ish' in section.
Complete with flat rectangular panelling sections to a vertical height of 36ins for the outside walls and landing, plus one other large section.
All components have been removed with care and are in excellent condition. Serious viewers are welcome. Measurements are a guide and should be checked.
