 FOR SALE : RETRO NORSK AXMINSTER RYA RUG 1960'S 1970'S This 1960's RYA wool rug is from the Norsk Axminster range which was of a very high quality and was very expensive back in the 60's. You don't find too many of them around for sale now.
Featuring a stylish abstract design in oranges and reds on a cream background this rug is ideal for any modern minimalist interior, we had this rug in our lounge for ages and it works really well along side teak and other Danish furniture.
This rug is in a good vintage condition, it is machine washable and there are no major tears although please do bear in mind that there may be the odd snag or light mark as it is a vintage piece.
The rug measures approx 60 x 38 inches and the pile is approx 1 inch deep.

These floorboards are 110 years old and original to the church in Merseyside they have come out of.

Finish: This flooring has been de-nailed. The rough ends have been sawn off. The boards have been brushed to remove as much of the dirt and dust as possible. These floorboards were once varnished but the varnish has worn off them over the years. The flooring has been covered with carpet for the last few years.
Once fitted they require sanding and finish to go on them, this can be varnish, stain, wax or lacquer. These boards take no sanding whatsoever.

 FOR SALE : RECLAIMED ELM FLOORING 13.6 sq yards random width elm floorboards reclaimed from herefordshire country house circa 1800.Up to 11 1/4" in width and mostly long lengths up to 12'4".As image 3 shows,the original surface is not very good due to woodworm (this has not been sufficient to weaken the boards) and a lack of care when lifting the boards,however,the underside was good and flat and so has been cleaned and lightly sanded to smooth out some of the pit-saw marks.These are now very good looking boards.Delivery can be arranged.
