Full in the face, the size of a wall, larger than life. A gutsy, full on example which through its distressing, gives a blow by blow account of each and every day of its long and varied working life. Something of a one off and one of life's survivors.
Presenting itself in much the same way as an early antique, the more you inspect the more you discover. For the more geeky amongst us, quite a journey of discovery. Constructed of solid stained pine throughout, interpreting mahogany, the bank of drawers has something of an early, well crafted, bespoke feel. Having been purpose built originally for shop storage, all drawers are large heavy & ample.
Salvaged some years ago, over the decades the bank has been repaired revived and used for shop, builders and home. Still maintaining its rugged good looks, the bank has a genuine hands on flavour and is fine, functioning, and ready for use.
Big, bold, full of character, a piece for any antique, industrial or rustic style interior. It's a bit of a beast.

 FOR SALE : VINTAGE GAMEKEEPER'S TABLE Unique and very large antique mahogany table from a Yorkshire estate lodge.
A very practical and imposing item that measures 2.74m (nine feet) in length by 725mm wide (28.5") and stands 810mm high, (32").
Ideally suited for a farmhouse kitchen or scullery, it has two useful drawers to the front. It has been constructed from solid Brazilian mahogany with the table top being a substantial 75mm thick, that's a full 3".
Showing original patination and only minor restoration work, this really is an enviable piece that certainly has a tale to tell.
