Carved oak chimney piece, pictured prior to removal from 1890's Victorian mansion in Kenilworth, Warwickshire. Intricately carved by C. Mellier & Co. of Cavendish Square, London.
Overall size: 117" wide x 115" high. Since removal we have stripped the paint chemically and the chimney piece is now in lovely brown oak. Condition excellent. Price includes resilvering of mirror, cast iron fireback, fire basket and dogs.

 FOR SALE : VICTORIAN STAIRCASE Elegant early Victorian staircase just carefully removed by ourselves from a Town House in Nottingham. It comprises a first flight against left hand wall turning right against the back wall and continuing up to the first floor with a balcony return.
The treads are high quality pine, the highly decorative spindles are cast iron and the carved newell and handrail best mahogany, possibly Cuban.

 FOR SALE : ART DECO PANELLED ROOM
Dismantled and removed from a former engineering building in Sheffield the panelling would almost certainly have reflected the status of the Company at the height of Sheffield's power as a steel manufacturing town.
The panelling is a very fine example of art deco styling with an emphasis on horizontal lines.
Within the room are three floor to ceiling cupboards, one of which contains a mirrored cocktail cabinet.
The fireplace is made of ceramic tiles with typical classic deco design. The overall effect of the room is stunning, made in Oak with all its original chrome fittings.
