birdbaths
STOLEN : PAIR OF COTSWOLD STONE BIRDBATHS
Stolen from Toddington, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire UK on 4 September 2016
Item : Matching pair of birdbaths. The tops have stylised foliage to the outsides and are separate from the columns. The round columns have a straight tapered pillar with two raised bands above a fluted urn-shape on a flared foot. They originally sat on square bases, not stolen, and a peg on the base of the column registered in a hole in the base stone. One of the bases must have broken at some point, so one column had had that "peg" removed to allow it to sit on a flat base. There is some damage to one of the columns (see photos) and the bottom of each bowl is marked with a deeply carved H.
Any info to : contact Gloucestershire police on 101 (there is no direct telephone number). Crime ref. no. 20796/16, incident no. 405/4th September, reported by Mr Davies
