FOR SALE : UNUSUAL CAST FIREPLACE

This ornate cast fireplace has now been removed from our Victorian Semi in Bramhall, near Stockport. We believe that this craft piece was cast locally and is a copy of a 'French Empire' design that dates from 1860-1880. The main body is aluminum with decorative centre and side detailing in brass.

The top shelf is approximately 60.5" wide and 10.5" deep. It is approximately 47" high.

(For the avoidance of doubt, it is just the mantelpiece/fire surround that is for sale, not the marble backing/gas fire also shown in the picture.)
