FOR SALE : RECLAIMED SAPELE PARQUET FLOORING, BITUMEN REMOVED - PRE SANDED

Reclaimed Solid wood Sapele Parquet Flooring. Orders being taken in advance for this flooring that is due to be removed W/C 22nd March 2009 from a school.

Bitumen will be removed from the rear of the blocks leaving a light staining on the rear of the block, T&G or sides roughly cleaned and the original layer of varnish/wax/grime sanded of leaving you with a clean block to work with.
Simply receive your flooring, let it acclimatise in the building it's being fitted to. All you have to do is have it fitted, sand it and then apply the finish to it.

Name: Sapele
Colour : Medium Brown to Reddish Brown. Characterised by a defined ribbon striped figure on quartered surfaces. Fine interlocked grain.

Description of the product you are purchasing:
Reclaimed Sapele woodblock parquet flooring. This flooring has had the bitumen removed from the rear leaving a thin black layer of staining and the original layer of varnish previously on the face has been roughly sanded off.

What is required of these blocks once they are fitted?:
A light sanding to smooth over the surface and then the floor will require a finish to go on it; this can be varnish, stain, wax or lacquer.
Please always seek advise from a qualified fitter as to suitability.
Please remember that this is reclaimed flooring that you are buying, it is not new and may require some if only little preperation before fitting. There will be an element of dust that is created when you sand the fitted flooring. Please expect the room you are fitting these blocks in, to be out of use for a number of days at a time throught the fitting and finishing process.

Delivery/Collection
You will receive these blocks palliated. If you would like to collect them we can stack them in small bundles for you so they are easy to handle and fit in your vehicle. We can also deliver in person if you are close to us or we can send with a pallet company. The cost of delivery via a pallet company will be in the region of £45-£70 per pallet.

Hello, we are redoing our pub floor in the North Bedfordshire area and require approx 100 sq meters of inexpensive med-dark brown wood flooring (mahogany, oak etc - but not pine). Do you still have the advertised parquet blocks and what is your best price for just the blocks alone and also for fitting the floor (if you offer that service). Do you have any other stock that you would recommend?
