2) Telephone Seat

 

Although telephone seats are quite common, its not often that you see one with a solid base section on it with doors, they are usually open with legs...

 

Carved fronts and back with an unusual detail on top of the back.

Cupboard opens and there is a pullout shelf with whited board.

Fabric has no rips or tears.

 

I know its not very old but it is unusual...there is a stapled note on the back showing it being sold at Fagins Antiques for £220, I believe this was about 15 years ago.
