the dressing table has a bowed front with cylindrical storage cupboards on either side. The dressing table has three drawers - one slim top draw and two substantial lower drawers, the mirror is original and in a cloud style and is removable for transit
each storage cupboard has three semi circular shelves with retainers at the front.
The table is in a beautiful golden figured walnut veneer and matches the wardrobes being sold seperately.
The dressing table measures 60'' inches high (floor to mirror top) (29" table top to bottom without mirror) x 51'' wide x 22'' inches deep
there is a makers plaque inside the right door for shrager and on the rear is a paper label for masterpiece furniture.

 FOR SALE : UNUSUAL BENCH
This is a solid, 8ft 6ins bench which is surprisingly comfortable. We had it recovered in October 07 in the beige material at a cost of £200, the other image is how it came to us originally. We have had it in our shop, which we are in the process of leaving, and in our house. It could have come from Manchester Town Hall originally, not sure but fits the bill.

In beautiful condition, these chairs are of extremely good quality.
Hand Made around 1900
They have had one repair made to the seat supports (cannot be seen) and have been covered in an oxblood coloured leather fabric.
An absolutely stunning addition to your furniture.
The genuine ball and claw feature is quite rare.
These chairs also have a fantastic carved back support.
An exceptional set.
Condition is average for the age of these chairs but obviously not perfect. They have scuffs and scratches due to use, but this must be expected..there are bumps and bruises consistent with age and use.
The joints are tight and there is no worm, rot or significant damage.

 FOR SALE : VICTORIAN GRAMAPHONE CABINET, EXCELLENT CONDITION
Vintage two door (believed oak) lift lid gramaphone cabinet.
It has two doors with round wooden turned handles,which appear to be the original ones, and four brass hinges.
The top lifts up, to reveal a useful storage area where a gramaphone used to be.
The unit does have a good patina, but also some ring marks on the top.
This contributes to the cupboards aged charm.
There two small sections of trim missing, normal wear commensurate with its age.
It has a replacement back panel and base.
Please note the dovetail joints to the corners of the lid.
The cupboard has four shaped feet.
Measurements:
Height 83.5cm
Width 62 cm
Depth 47.5 cm
The compartment on top is 8cm deep plus 5cm deep edge round the top,so when closed it is 13 cm deep.15 cm high legs.

A lovely set of 4 Identical Vintage Oak Edwardian / Georgian Chairs.
Made in the early 1900's pre war when quality craftsmanship meant something, these are fine examples.
The joints are still tight and secure after all these years, a tribute to the build quality.
The top crossbar is gently shaped at the top and has vertical lined carvings deep into the solid oak.
The ladderback design on the back is strong and well intact.
The seats are drop-in design.
The seats are currently finished in a green fabric, you can easily reupholster these.
The oak frame is secure around the seat and all of the legs and uprights.
The chairs do not wobble.
The stretchers between the legs have helped make these some of the strongest designed chairs around.

Carved fronts and back with an unusual detail on top of the back.

Fabric has no rips or tears.
I know its not very old but it is unusual...there is a stapled note on the back showing it being sold at Fagins Antiques for £220, I believe this was about 15 years ago.

 FOR SALE : JONES C.B D-65 SEWING MACHINE AND TABLE VERY RARE!
I have had this item for 2 years.
It was made before 1928.
The item has slight blemishes on the woodwork and requires a new staple in the strap.
There are very few of these Jones CB machines around, especially the early ones with the red and gold decals.
Jones began making these in the mid-1920s and changed the decals to plain gold in the early 1930s. The 'CB' stands for 'Central Bobbin' and the machine has an oscillating shuttle mechanism.
Given the quite low serial number the machine was made around 1929.
I don't have the expertise to bring the woodwork back up to life, so instead of ruining a beautiful item I would rather sell it so someone who can do it well.
