The five foot high stone column rests on a circular base, and has a square top inscribed on the four sides: CW, JD, SC and 1772. It would originally have had a metal blade on top to cast the sun's shadow onto an inscribed timescale, but that has been missing for many years now. ITEM 1: Arched grey marble fire surround, piece missing off left hand spandrel.
ITEM 2: Belgian rouge royale red brown marble square fire surround, missing footblocks.
ITEM 3: Three slate surrounds, one painted, two stripped.
ITEM 4: Enamelled slate surround, possibly handpainted scenes in ovals on each jamb.
ITEM 5: Cast iron surround with seperate insert.
