FOR SALE : PRE-SEALED TERRACOTTA FLOOR TILES -- "ANTIQUE PAMMETS" (6 SQM APPROX) We are looking to sell 140 high-quality rustic terracotta floor tiles. Each tile is 20 cm x 20 cm in size, with a depth of about 2 cm. The tiles are called "Antique Pammets" and are intentionally rustic in style, with uneven edges and depths, salt marks, chips and even the occasional dog paw print.
When bought from a shop, these tiles come unfinished and need to be sealed. However, since this lot is a left-over from our own kitchen/conservatory renovation, we have already sealed them with 2 coats of clear Osmo Polyx Oil (matte), which we think is the best product on the market for the job.
The pictures show samples of the left-over tiles, as well as shots of our kitchen and conservatory floor, which shows how nice they look when laid. Allowing for wide (1cm) joints, the 140 tiles on sale should be enough for about 6 square meters of floor space. The official estimate is 24 tiles per square meter, corresponding to 5.8 square meters. If your job is larger, you can still buy more of these (e.g. from "Smoke and Fire" online) and you can also easily buy more Osmo, e.g. from amazon.
The tiles for sale here are new -- they have never been used. The only thing we have done since purchasing them is cleaned them, sealed them and stored them. When bought new and un-sealed from the shop, these tiles cost £1.99 per tile, and the Osmo finish costs £16.63 for a 0.75 liter tin. So the true cost for the materials alone would be around £300, even without adding in the time and effort required to thoroughly clean each tile and apply 2 coats of the finish. We are therefore asking for £250, but we will be happy to consider any reasonable offers. Price : 250
