FOR SALE : ALICO FIRE GRATE

This is a Alico Fire grate, i have been told dates back to 1935 ish, we have just taken down the fireplace to find this hidden treasure, it is a cream enamel but unfortunatly the door is missing, i have been told that the door are easy to cme across.

The old bit of history i know about my item is:

In the early 1900's Allied Ironfoundary in yorkshire started to make this fire but left there Black then in the early 1930's they started to put an enamel on them. In the early 1950's Allied Ironfoundary were brought out by Coakbrookdale and now they are owned by AGA.

We are looking to sell this item asap due to needing it removed so my new fire can be installed.
