 FOR SALE : ENGLISH OAK FIRE SURROUND WITH 16TH CENTURY PANELS An impressive oak fire surround utilising early carved oak panels, belived to be 16th century or earlier. The central panel is said to depict Leviathan consuming dove bringing fruit to Noah, above wives. A most interesting and intricate sequence of carvings, which if required could be put to another use. The surround has been assembled in its current form approximately 40 years.
