A very nice and substantial Octagonal shaped Cider Press Stone. This stone has a channel carved around the complete edge of the stone for the cider juice to run out through.

A nice stone trough with charecter and substantial. From Matlock in Derbyshire the walls of the this trough are several inches thick in parts.
The trough is uneven in shape being taller at one end to the other which adds to its character. Very good condition.
Dimensions are 32 inches long 22 inches wide 12 inches deep at one end and 17 inches deep at the other. there is a drainage hole.

 FOR SALE : VICTORIAN TOILET / WC BY DOULTON A rare Doulton 'SIMPLICITAS' toilet pan with good glaze and no sign of crazing. The pan is marked '6-95' referring to 1895, the date of manufacture.
The rim of the pan has a few marks and manufacturing flaws and the water feed pipe has a hairline (no sign of a leak). These faults will all be hidden when a traditional bracket seat is installed. The fixing holes and base are undamaged.
The pan has a hairline crack to the rear left. There is no evidence of this having leaked. In all other respects the item is in original undamaged condition.

 FOR SALE : COTSWOLD STONE GABLE COPING / PEDIMENT An unusual hand carved Cotswold stone gable wall feature incorporating ornate finial section. It would now make an excellent addition to an extension or refurbishment. Likely to be 19th century. Condition is generally excellent, the only faults noticed being a repaired break to the top finial and the odd chip/knock, mostly on the back side, so not visible when installed. We have many more meters of the scrolled stones available, so there is flexibility to cover a much larger gable.

 FOR SALE : DENT & HELLYER HIGH LEVEL CAST IRON CISTERN A cast iron cistern with what appear to be complete workings, including pull chain. No cracks or other visible damage. We believe it is zinc lined or galvanised. It is designed to be screwed directly to a wall, so no need for brackets. The cistern has been shot blasted externally and primed. Probably Edwardian.

 FOR SALE : ORIGINAL ENGLISH CASTLE / GOTHIC STYLE OAK DOOR Constructed from three riveted wrought iron sheets with oak and elm timbers to front and back.
The timber has been preserved and waxed, although some loss has occured near the base on the front side. The lock and hinges could be later additions, we believe the hinges would be usable. The door has developed a lean under its own weight, this may partially flatten out when properly hung.
Possible uses include a film prop, or feature for a historic building. Given its condition, age and rarity we consider this item to a show or museum piece, rather than for use as a working door.
