Cast iron spiral staircase. 38 treads in one direction and 15 in the other. Measurements 23" x 12" x 8 and a half" high. Baluster height 36”. Balusters require re-drilling and new bolts. Needs sandblasting but I can get this done locally. No handrail.

 FOR SALE : BETHERSDEN MARBLE
Bethersden marble paving stone as found around medieval houses in the Bethersden, Smarden, Pluckley, Headcorn areas of Kent. Although referred to as marble this stone is made up of small fossilised crustaceans. Also known locally sometimes as winklestone, pieces are irregular in shape and the colour is similar to weathered Kent Ragstone (see photos). Famous examples are the pavements in Biddenden High street and around many of the well known Wealden Hall houses in mid Kent. We also have some of this material as walling stone ie. unworn but weathered. We have approx 70 sq yds of the paving palletised or crated ready for collection. We would prefer to see this lot sold together, but would entertain other suggestions.

French encaustic geometric floor tiles from late C18/early C19. Fair condition for their age, some minor chipping of edges.
Approximately 350 tiles, each 200mm x 200mm to cover area of 14 square metres. Each tile is approximately 14mm thick and weighs 600g, thus total weight is 100kg. 52 edging tiles and 2 corners included - please email me for photo. Thus approx 195 of the geometric tiles in total.
I bought these to lay in the hallway of my Victorian house, but am now moving to Helsinki and can't take them with me. Please contact me with any questions. I'll also throw in some tile restorer bought specially, but not used.
