Hi, I have a large victorian pine fire surround for sale. It's made from pine and is nicely detailed, and unusually has some tiles set in it. The shelf is shoulder height. Its big and heavy (two man lift). Selling because its too big for our room. Can send pics if interested. East Sussex.

Hi there, We are clearing out our yard and have an old slate(painted) fire surround. It is in parts.
The sizes are approx:
Mantle - 70" long x 30" deep
Side panels - 48" high x 12" wide x 4" deep
Butress - height 15 x 6" wide and protudes 4"
Center Panel 9 x 41"
Overall width of fireplace 61 1/2 "
We also have slate slabs (for the hearth area)which we think are from the same item but are not sure.

For Sale quality oak fire surround with original leaded glass cupboard above mantle and panelling. Edwardian Arts with Arts & Crafts influence. External measurements 4ft 81/2 inches wide x 7ft 43/4 inches high.
Internal measurements of opening 4ft wide x 3ft 6inches high
Leaded glass in the cupboard doors is original. We used this as a drinks cupboard.

28 Jul 2010 14:05:23 : original tiled victorian fireplacesI have a pair of original Victorian fireplaces which originally came from a house in Folkestone that was built in the mid 1890's for the Radnor Estate.
Some of the tiles are broken on one fireplace but the other one's are all in tact.
Height: 123cm / 48 1/2 inches
Mantel Width: 126cm / 49 1/2 inches
Width: 108cm / 38 1/2 inches.
Depth Approx: 60cm / 23 1/2 inches.
Any reasonable offers considered!

I have a stunning restored early Victorian cast iron surround and insert complete with full set of original tiles. Removed from our first home (we put it in) hoping to fit it in next home as so gorgeous but 2 subsequent homes have not had suitble chimney breast. Would like to sell to fund ( possibly part exchange ) purchase of smaller georgian hob grate. Approx measurements 1446 wide x 1330 height.It currently resides in Somerset. I can e-mail some pictures and more detailed measurements if you are interested.
