 FOR SALE : EDWARDIAN 6' X3' RILEY SNOOKER/ DINING TABLE. Superb Edwardian slate bed snooker/ dining table by the renowned firm of E.J. Riley of Accrington.
hand made with a full slate bed and recently refurbished. The table has been re-covered and the cushions and the pockets have been replaced by Riley themselves. Standing on four substantial turned mahogany ballustre legs. The table has a ratchet action which enables the height to be adjusted for either palying snooker or dining. There are four original mahogany pegged leaves which enable the table to be used for dining and will seat eight people in comfort. Solid mahogany frame.

 FOR SALE : LARGE VICTORIAN MAHOGANY TRIPLE WARDROBE. Superb quality mahogany triple wardrobe.
The elegant moulded cornice with central bow above inlaid bow front cabinet over three graduated drawers flanked by mirror door wardrobes. The cupboard encloses original brass hooks to sides and top. The robe sections have original pull-out hanging rails which run from front to back. The piece retains all original brass hardware and working locks.
Condition Report: Excellent and solid throughout. The top hinge of the right hand robe has a sliver of timber missing so is not attached. There is a centre and a bottom hinge which holds the door fine and a repair would be straight-forward. The mirror to this door is also a replacement.
Measurements: Width 1680mm, Depth 590mm, Height 2100mm.

 FOR SALE : RARE ANTIQUE CARVED MARBLE PANELS/ SCULPTURE. Two magnificent and extremely rare carved marble panels. Would make a fantastic bath surround which wouldn't look out of place in any palace. Other uses might include a fire surround, wall panels, garden feature or pond surround etc.
Comes direct from the chapel of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Liverpool and dates to c1900. Formed part of the pulpit (front and side). Totally fresh to the market. The marble was carved by Frank Norberry who worked with Charles Allen and carved the marble for the Philharmonic Hotel in Hope Street, Liverpool as well as many other high profile commissions in the city.
We have a copy of the sermon preached at it's inauguration into the chapel on Palm Sunday 1900.
These items are unique. All solid marble with ornate carved foliage border, coral marbel panel interior and a carved white marble maiden to the larger panel. These are extremely heavy items and will require at least four men to lift.
Condition Report: Excellent throughout. Odd wear commensurate with age but nothing worth a mention.

 FOR SALE : LARGE ANTIQUE COUNTRY KITCHEN DINING TABLE. Absolutely stunng and very large pitch pine dining table. The table top is three very solid planks with bread-board ends. The base has a plain frieze on heavy turned legs. The construction is all traditional, the top with biscuit joints and the legs fixed with mortice and tennon pegged joints. The top is waxed and the the base painted in off-white then lightly distressed. Lovely quality made from 100 yr old reclaimed pitch pine which had a lovely colour and original Victorian legs. The piece is finely sanded and finished in traditional wax by our carpenter.
Condition Report: Really has to be seen to appreciate the condition and quality. We leave the odd scrape and mark rather than sanding it all out which, in our opinion, improves the feel of the table.
Measurements: Width 3045mm (10'), Depth 840mm (33"), Height 760mm.

 FOR SALE : LOVELY GEORGIAN OAK CORNER CABINET/ CUPBOARD. Superb Georgian oak corner cabinet/ cupboard. Cornice top above above frieze with inlaid detail. Door with mahogany crossbanding. Original working lock, key and escutcheon enclosing three painted shelves . Retains original backboards which are free from worm.
Condition Report: Solid and original throughout.
Measurements: Width 915mm, Depth 410mm, Height 1310mm.

 FOR SALE : EDWARDIAN GLOBE WERNICKE STACKING BOOKCASE. Edwardian mahogany Globe Wernicke type stacking lawyer's bookcase. Made of solid mahogany and in four sections. Glazed cupboards with up and over shelf doors. Original brass handles. A very elegant and useful example.

 FOR SALE : LARGE VICTORIAN SOLID OAK CHEST OF DRAWERS. Good quality Victorian period chest of drawers. Solid top with moulded edge above two short drawers over three long drawers, all with ornate geometric mouldings. The drawers have lion mask brass handles.
