 FOR SALE : BATH TAPS
Period Bath taps in unusual shape. In good condition and fully working order. Just removed from the cast iron bath in our victorian house. They measure 6.25" tall and are just over 1.75" at their widest. The cold tap has a nick in it, about 0.25" long and the spout area of both are a bit scratched but they are really fabulous. The indices are in great condition, white porcelain with black HOT and COLD lettering. Note that the photo makes it look as if the HOT is missing some of the writing but this is just reflection of the flash. Very heavy at over a kilo each.

A rare art deco ceramic Shanks high level cistern in excellent condition.I was lucky to find a set of three of these cisterns in an old mill.I haven't seen any others like them.The one pictured has been sold and the other two are available.With lids.The toilet wasn't with this cistern originally but is an interesting deco one.I have a further one,maybe two of these.

A rare one piece antique ceramic bath.English - from a house in Huddersfield, 1929.A lovely straw,beige colour on the outside and white on the inside.I have a toilet pan in the same colour.Panels all the same on the outside and symmetrical.Very good useable condition.Doesn't need re enamelling.
This is a very clean lined piece and doesn't scream art deco although of the period.A good base to build a wonderful bathroom around.I have a lot of other original sanitaryware and bathroom accessories,towel rails etc.

A large and heavy nickel plated reclaimed (Bolton Mill)brass towel rail.Apprx 1920's.Some wear to plating(see pics)and needs a handle for the valve ( i may be able to sort that-would have been a wooden one).It has a bleeder valve and two plates surrounding the inlet and outlet pipes which fixed it to the wall.
Excellent quality original towel rail.Could be stripped back to brass if a more polished look is required.

A large cast iron bath with three cast iron panels (two side and one end) allowing most congigurations within a bathroom.There are no tap holes, just a waste and overflow.These are also lower than most baths. I will add the dimensions later.This will need refinishing and i can arrange for that to be done either by vitreous enamelling or a special paint job (with 5 year guarantee)or it is possible to do it yourself using a DIY resurfacing kit (approx. £40.00).
