 FOR SALE : CAST IRON FIRE SURROUND WITH INSERT - COMPLETE A fireplace comprising of a cast iron surround with original faux walnut painted decoration, a grate and tiled panels.
The surround is in good condition with a minor scratch to the frieze.The grate is in good useable condition and is complete with adjustable chromed brass hood,ash pan and front, removeable baffle plate and an adjustable front grille that can be adjusted to a vertical or horizontal position.
I will split the surround and grate if necessary.
Dimensions in inches: The shelf is 58.5(body 55 wide) by 9 deep,the height is 50 and the opening is 37 wide by 38 high.The grate is 37 high by 18 wide by 22 deep with front grille flat.Inner useable area of grate is 12 wide by 10.5 deep.

 FOR SALE : REGISTER GRATE
19th Century inset register grate, unlike my photograph it has very crisp ornate detail the main frieze comprised of bows and garlands seperated with two paterae conected to an adam stye urn/cup and cover, set in the middle. The top corners have stylised moulded leaves the fluted sides roll out to a heavy cushion moulding. The fire back is also moulded with reeds and flutes. Although this grate has minor surface rust it has not damaged any of its fine detail. There are no cracks or any repairs to these castings. 40"H x 38"W x 11"D approx.
