FOR SALE : FRUITWOOD FIRE SURROUND.
A splendid, fully restored, fruitwood fire surround, rescued from an about to be demolished victorian house in Liverpool. This piece has been examined by the Leicester New Walk Museum and found to have been made in the 19th century to a 16th century design. It has an overall height of 46.1/2" including the 8" high mantlepiece, the overall width being 65.3/4", with a depth of 11". The aperture is 32" square.
