 FOR SALE : RECLAIMED 1850'S VAULT DOORS, GOLD INLAY,
These are the most amazing set of vault doors. Reclaimed from a Chicago Bank, they are inlaid with gold and have been "pearled" beautiful tool work on the reverse.
The maker Mosler, made the vault doors for the Federal Reserve Bank in Washington, Fort Knox gold vault, and every major world bank. They closed in 2001 (and went into real estate, and are the largest commercial property owner group in NY city) Mosler was and still is considered the best vault door maker in the world.
The doors were hand crafted and custom ordered. A standard set of Normal, ugly bank vault doors is more than $55,000 with a similar dimension. I have been informed that these doors could not be made for less than $200,000 (about 100,000 pounds) if there is even any company on earth left that can make doors like this.
Measurements are 81.75" tall x 20 wide Each door (total 40" entrance)
Each door weighs 300kilos
Included is the doors, hinges, and metal frame.
