Parquet Panels reclaimed from the iconic " Lewis " department store in Liverpool.The panels measure 6 & 3/4" x 6 & 3/4" x 3/4" and have their old worn surface ready to restore. The Lewis store was considered the Harrods of the north west, and these bespoke made parquet panels are an example of the " no expense spared " quality of the interior design at the time.
The Quarter sawn Oak itself is of the highest quality typical of the period. On sanding the medullary ray figuring is displayed common with the times and grade.
These panels would grace a variety of period interiors and exist only as a one off batch never to be available again.
