 WANTED : GEORGIAN FIREPLACE WANTED Looking for a marble fireplace similar to the one in attached photographs. Happy to consider surrounds and inserts separately.
Fireplace needs to measure 44-50" (112-127cm) wide measured across the outside of the pillars - mantlepiece can be a little wider). Height of mantle should be around 45" (113cm). Pillars of exisitng fireplace are 6" (15cm) wide, and around 4 inches deep. Insert probably therefore needs to be 32-38" (86-97 cm) or so.

WANTED : STEEL OR IRON FACTORY / BLAST DOORS, SOLID GATES We are a charitable organisation based in East London. We're restoring and upgrading our aged buildings with the aid of time, energy, effort and, err, basically no cash!
That notwithstanding, I wonder if anyone can help? We'd like to find some solid iron / steel plate doors. I'm not sure if I have the right terms to describe these, but I've seen similar in various Victorian warehouse buildings in the past. Basically solid metal, very heavy doors.
Most sizes can be accommodated, and we can collect and will travel for the right items. In the first instance perhaps you could email photos and details?

The fireplace is 38" wide just below where the mantle should go.
