 FOR SALE : VICTORIAN CAST IRON FIRE INSERT AND WOOD SURROUND
Original Victorian (c.1870) arched cast iron insert for sale with (not original) wooden surround.
Good condition polished with grate polish. Nice trefooil moulding.
Insert in working order with grate bars, fireback etc.
Damper not original, small piece missing from top of one "acorn" on fire bars.
Visible size of insert 80cm wide by 82cm high. Overall width of surround 120cm, mantle shelf 137cm, height 120cm.
