 FOR SALE : COFFEE BEAN DISPLAY FROM THE FAMOUS LONDON STORE
For sale is a beautiful, large coffee bean dispenser that was built for the famous Harrods department store in London and used in the Coffee Department in the Food Halls. This is a totally unique and very usable item for a store, restaurant, hotel (or large home). The display was removed from Harrods to make way for the Food Hall
redevelopment and the circular bean display that is now in Harrods.
The display is made from hand-crafted copper which by now has a very nice patina. Of course you can clean the copper and restore the original colour depending on your preference. There are 14 separate sections for beans. Minimal work is required to restore this item to perfect condition - a few dispenser spouts require reshaping to original position - an easy job to do.
I am not sure when the display was manufactured but there is a plaque on the back (shown in the photos) that reads:
