 WANTED : 1920S CAST IRON FIREPLACE - COUNCIL HOUSE LOUNGE
The picture is of the fireplace in the master bedroom a 1920s council house in south west London, Dover House estate. The dimensions are 48" tall by 40" wide (widest point of the mantle). the item required needs to fit the living room chimney breast which is 4" wider than the master bedroom one. I imagine the height would be the same.
I don't mind the condition as I have the tools for restoration.
In the 1960s the council ripped out most of the fireplaces are replaced them with gas fires; lucky for us the ones in the bedrooms were not removed

Two inserts required, one 2ft 6ins to 3ft wide and the other 17 1/2ins wide by 2ft 6ins high.
Wanted: ROUND WINDOW FRAME, 18thC or 19thC, 2ft 6ins diameter approx, decorative (ie originally designed for domestic NOT industrial use), with delicate iron glazing bars forming central bull's eye and radiating panes. Glazed or unglazed.
