 FOR SALE : RETRO 1950S NEW WORLD RANGETTE COOKER
Fabulous 1950s 'Rangette' gas cooker by reliable British brand New World. Very stylish item and would look great in a modern or period kitchen.
Classic design. White with chrome trim and flashes of red on the dials.
It has been looked after well and was used daily by it's previous owner who said it is in perfect working order.
They also had it professionally steam cleaned.
Excellent condition, some minor chips but nothing major. It really is in great nick. I can send more pictures.
It has 4 gas hobs, one of which has a unique "Milk Simmer" function which automatically controls the size of the flame.
The grill flips down from the back of the cooker and the grill pan slides on the centre runners.
There is a large gas powered oven on the left and a "plate warmer" on the right which is heated by the oven on the left. The bottom drawer is handy for keeping baking trays etc.
We don't know for sure, but someone said that it might have originally had a handle to flip down the grill, however it operates without.
