FOR SALE : CAST IRON ART NOUVEAU-STYLE FIREPLACES

A matching pair of small cast iron fireplaces recently removed from bedrooms.  These items are contemporary with the house which dates from 1927, and are believed to never have been used.  The original delivery ticket from Pryke & Palmer Ltd was still attached. 

Both fireplaces are complete with front grilles and cast iron firebacks with damper plates.  There are no ash pans though new items are readily availble from local coal and fireplace merchants.

Please note one fireplace was stripped in-situ prior to removal. During this process some casting damage was found at the top RHS under the top shelf.  This had been infilled with fire cement when first installed and painted to match the rest of the fireplace.  The second unstripped fireplace does not have this casting fault.
