mahogany door
FOR SALE : MAHOGANY DOOR
This door is one of a set of approximately 10 doors they are really well made and of a real quality.I also have some of the original door linings and architraving. They are circa 1923 and were rescued from a building prior to demolition. The door showing has had a varnish removed and is ready for re-finishing. I have had one french polished and the finished result is as good as you will see on a piece of furniture.
The doors are unusual in the fact that they are 8 panels and the mouldings are interesting they are of a classic stepped profile which you find on Deco pieces.
The sizes are apporx 32 inches wide x 78 inches high.
